THE CAMELLIA STORY
Camellia Bridal actually began as an Etsy Shop for bridal accessories, handmade by none other than our Store Owner, Nicki, who has dabbled in many different art forms over the years- dancer, photographer, entrepreneur, and accessories designer. It was her affinity for lace that started the Etsy Shop, and her desire to bring exquisite wedding dresses and accessories at inclusive prices that started our little bridal shop, Camellia Bridal.
Our charming bridal boutique, is located in Savannah's Victorian District. Built in the late 1800s, our space has been home to many different ventures, including a yoga studio, beauty salon, art gallery, a shoemaking studio, and now it's filled with satin and tulle. Opening in April of 2020, as awful as it was to start a business at the beginning of a global pandemic, at least meant there was plenty of time to clean out all of that shoe-making dust and bring our cozy little corner of Savannah to life.

At Camellia Bridal we feel very fortunate to be able to spend our time with the most amazing brides on a very special day, as part of this “industry of joy”!
To share that joy with our community we partner with Renegade Paws Rescue, who make such a huge impact on the lives of so many dogs (and kitties!). These “Rebels for the Paws” are a volunteer-based rescue dedicated to saving the lives and providing the highest level of care to unwanted , abused, or injured dogs in the Savannah, GA/Coastal Empire region. From participating in Wag-O-Ween, to special months when we donate a percentage of sales, (plus our owner and a few of our consultants have adopted Renegades!) we love helping out one of our favorite non-profits!
“Brides for a Cause is a nonprofit organization that collects and resells wedding dresses to raise funds for charity. Our dresses are donated from designers, manufacturers and brides all over the country! Proceeds support various local and national women focused charities.”

When my husband and I put Camellia Bridal together, we picked the colors and flow of movement to reflect that aesthetic. It might not be obvious, but I feel it, and it inspires me!
